Can 3D wall panels be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

For areas where panels may be exposed to direct water contact, we recommend selecting one of our 3D waterproof panel options.

Our paintable 3D wall panels are also moisture-resistant, making them suitable for use across your home, including bathrooms and kitchens.

Please note that our black 3D wall panelling is not moisture-resistant.

Can 3D wall panels be installed near heat sources?

If your 3D wall panels will be directly next to heat source, we recommend opting for our fire rated MDF panels.

Do 3D wall panels improve insulation or soundproofing?

Our acoustic 3D wall panels are a great choice for improving insulation and soundproofing. MDF wall panels can slightly improve sound absorption by reducing echo and vibration, but aren't a professional insulation solution for sound proofing.

Do you offer 3D wall panel samples?

Yes, we provide samples for a wide range of our 3d wall panels. These are delivered free of charge within two working days, helping you visualise how your wall panelling will look in your space before ordering. View all samples here.

Do 3D wall panels need to be painted?

Our paintable wall panels arrive unfinished, so need priming and paint them.

Our black panels doesn’t need painting, though applying a water-based PU lacquer gives a premium clear finish.

We also offer pre-finished white 3D wall panels which are ready to install.

How do I install 3D wall panels?

Secure each panel to the wall using grab adhesive (and nails if needed), sanding lightly if necessary and sealing any gaps. Then, apply a coat of prime, followed by your chosen paint in thin, even layers, allowing each coat to dry fully before the next. See our full step by step installation guide here.

Are 3D wall panels suitable for uneven walls?

Yes. If you’re fitting 3D MDF wall panelling onto an uneven surface, we recommend using a strong grab adhesive, with nails if required, to ensure a secure fix. For walls that are particularly uneven, installing battens first will help create a smooth, level base for the panels.

Can 3D wall panels be cut at home?

Absolutely. Our 3D wall panels are easy to cut using standard tools such as a circular saw, track saw, or jigsaw. Always measure carefully and cut slowly to achieve clean edges.
